Wedding Trends | 2016 Dramatic Floral Centrepieces

It’s no big surprise that wedding flowers are important! I personally love flowers  in every aspect of design, interiors, weddings and events and I don’t think you can ever have too many. As a little girl I dreamed of getting married in a flower farm in the Netherlands or if that didn’t pan out simply adorning my dress with flowers.

At Little Gray Station I have loved working with brides to be and planning how we can include their favourite flowers in their wedding. There are often things that brides are unsure about when they come to see us but flowers are something that everybody seems to be excited about! We have personally worked with so many brides that were excited to do beautiful floral installations like Ella + Andrew’s gorgeous foliage canopy and Ian + Brees bright floral details.

I am loving how the trend for dramatic florals is extending into all elements of wedding design including wedding dresses, wedding stationery and wedding cakes. Big, cascading and wild floral wedding centrepeices and bridal bouquets have been popular this year and I think the trend will continue to grow and be big in 2016.
